The City of Kettering announced its annual Shred Day for residents. Residents can take their personal documents to the parking lot of the Kettering Government Center to shred on October 2, 2021, from 9:00 A.M. to 12 Noon. Residents are asked to bring household shredding in boxes or other containers. But residents are asked not to bring documents in garbage bags. The event will not accept commercial shredding.  Kettering said that the lines for shredding tend to be longer earlier in the morning and then thin out after 10:30 A.M.  The event is free for residents and is being held in partnership with DayAir Credit Union.
