Water main break closes Kettering Middle School

Kettering, Ohio – The Kettering City School District announced on January 13, 2022, that near the end of the school day staff discovered a water main break at the Kettering Middle School. The District said that repair crews determined that it would “…take a substantial amount of time to make the necessary repairs…” The school will not have water while the repairs are being made. Consequently, the Kettering Schools announced that there will be no classes at the Kettering Middle School and the building will be closed on Friday, January 14, 2022. The District emphasized in its announcement that the closure will only impact the Kettering Middle School campus. All other campuses will be open for regular classes on Friday.
