Kettering Ohio weekly weather forecast for October 3 through October 9, 2021

Sunday, October 3, 2021:

Grab the umbrella or raincoat – you will probably need it. Sunday’s high is predicted to be 74 and the low will be around 63. But forecasters are predicting at least a 70% chance of rain. Rain showers are predicted for the morning with possible thunderstorms moving in during the afternoon. More thunderstorms are expected in the early evening. Variable clouds with a 66% chance of rain is predicted for the overnight hours.

Sunrise will be at 7:35 A.M., but with a UV index through the day of 0-2, you shouldn’t expect to see a lot of sunshine. Sunset will be at 7:15 P.M. It will be a humid day with humidity ranging from 83%-92%. Winds will be from the SSW at 7-10 MPH.

Monday, October 4, 2021:

As the workweek begins on Monday, keep that umbrella and raincoat handy. The high Monday will be around 75 and the overnight low will be around 59. But there is a significant chance of rain predicted for early in the day. Forecasters say there is a 60% chance of showers early and scattered thunderstorms later in the day. Overnight will see partly cloudy skies with only a 24% chance of rain.

Sunrise will be at 7:36 A.M. with sunset coming at 7:13 P.M. Monday will see a little more sun in the forecast with a UV index of 5. Humidity again will be pretty high ranging from 78%-926%. Daytime winds will be out of the WSW at about 6 MPH, and evening winds will be out of the N at 3 MPH.

Tuesday, October 5, 2021:

You should be able to leave those umbrellas and raincoats at home on Tuesday. Forecasters say there is only a 21% chance of rain during the day. The daytime high will be around 77 and the overnight low will be 62. There is a greater 42% chance of rain overnight. Forecasters say overnight partly cloudy skies will turn into possible occasional showers later in the evening.

Sunrise will be at 7:37 A.M. and Sunset will be at 7:12 P.M. The day’s UV index will only be 4. Humidity will be a little lower but still high at 77%-88%. Winds will be out of the ENE at 5-7 MPH.

Wednesday, October 6, 2021:

The Kettering area will see a high of 75 and a low of 63. There is a 41% chance of early showers and afternoon scattered thunderstorms. It will be overcast overnight with a 44% chance of showers developing.

Thursday, October 7, 2021:

Kettering’s high-temperature Thursday will be 74. The low will be 61 overnight. Forecasters are again predicting a 41% chance of showers early and scattered thunderstorms during the day. Overnight there is a 35%-40% chance of an isolated thunderstorm and showers giving way to variable clouds.
