Kettering Police seek the public's help in identifying a dangerous robbery suspect

Kettering, Ohio - The Kettering Police Department reports that the BP gas station at Wilmington and Smithville was robbed on October 24, 2021. The robbery took place between 3:00 and 3:30 A.M. 

A male suspect entered the store, placed a bandana over his face, and pulled a large knife on the clerk.  The suspect then emptied the cash drawer. After taking the money, the suspect duct-taped the clerk's hands and feet.  The suspect then fled the scene on foot in a westbound direction.

The suspect is described as being 6 ft. tall. The Kettering Police have released surveillance video of the incident, and they are asking the public to watch the video to see if you can help them identify the suspect. 

The video is below. Please watch the video to see if you know who the suspect is. The video shows the suspect pulling a bandana over his face. The video also has a brief audio clip of the suspect demanding money from the register. Do you recognize the suspect's voice?

Kettering Police also ask that you pay attention to details such as the suspect's shoes, pants, and other clothing. They also ask that you pay attention to his mannerisms and the way he walks.
