Kettering Police seek the public's help in identifying a dangerous robbery suspect
Kettering, Ohio - The Kettering Police Department reports that the BP gas station at Wilmington and Smithville was robbed on October 24, 2021. The robbery took place between 3:00 and 3:30 A.M.
A male suspect entered the store, placed a bandana over his face, and pulled a large knife on the clerk. The suspect then emptied the cash drawer. After taking the money, the suspect duct-taped the clerk's hands and feet. The suspect then fled the scene on foot in a westbound direction.
The suspect is described as being 6 ft. tall. The Kettering Police have released surveillance video of the incident, and they are asking the public to watch the video to see if you can help them identify the suspect.
