Kettering and Rumpke announce that there will be no delay in trash and recycling pickup during the Holidays
Kettering, Ohio - The City of Kettering and Rumpke announced that there will be no delay in trash and recycling pickup during the 2021 holiday season. Kettering and Rumpke both say that residents should plan on putting their trash and recycling out to the curb for their normal pickup day during both Christmas and New York weeks. Rumpke and Kettering do caution that you should make sure to put out trash and recycling the night before because if you miss their pickup, due to the added workload associated with the holidays, they will not be able to come back to make a pickup until the following week.

Kettering also says that all trees bigger than 9 feet tall must be cut in half before putting them out for pickup.
