Kettering’s Fraze Pavilion set for a full 2022 season

Kettering, Ohio – Kettering’s Fraze Pavilion is Kettering’s premiere amphitheater concert and event venue located at 695 Lincoln Park Blvd., Kettering. Fraze recently announced that after no season in 2020 and a shortened 2021 season due to COVID-19, the venue is planning a full 2022 event season. Although the weather is hovering near freezing this week, Fraze is planning for warmer days and has announced the first 6 2022 events.



Leading off the announced shows was Kettering’s Spass Nacht 2022. Spass Nacht is Austrian for "fun night", and the event is presented by the Kettering Sister City Association to honor Kettering’s sister city, Steyr, Austria. Spass Nacht is a festival featuring authentic Austrian food and beverages, polka music, and live entertainment. All the fun takes place at Fraze Pavilion and throughout Lincoln Park. Spass Nacht is a free event and it will take place Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 5:30 P.M. until 9:30 P.M. The Chardon Polka Band (https://chardonpolkaband.com/) will perform at 6:00 P.M.

On June 29, 2022, Fraze Pavilion will be visited by Killer Queen. Killer Queen bills itself as the premier Queen tribute band. The group has won numerous awards including “Worldwide Best Tribute Band”, and “Best Concert of the Year”. They have represented Queen in LiveAid, had a residency in the West End, and they have a number one hit for their harmonies in “The Real Life” with Fatboy Slim. On July 14, 2022, at 8:00 P.M. The Electric Light Orchestra Experience will visit Fraze Pavilion. The group is the United Kingdom’s top tribute band to the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). They perform numerous ELO top hits including “Mr. Blue Sky”, “Last Train to London”, “Telephone Line”, “Livin Thing”, “Rock n’ Roll is King”, Hold On Tight”, Turn to Stone”, and “Evil Woman”. A Fraze regular, The Menus will return to Kettering on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 8:00 P.M. The Menus are presented by Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley. The Menus performances feature the group’s unique flair, wild costumes, and wild antics and jokes combined with classic rock music from groups such as The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, Duran Duran, Queen, David Bowie, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Blue Oyster Cult, Foreigner, Bruce Springsteen, and many more. On August 14, 2022, Kettering’s 34th Annual Art on the Commons will return to the Fraze. The event is returning to its traditional in-person format after a hiatus due to COVID-19. Art on the Commons is presented by the Rosewood Arts Center and the Kettering Arts Center. The event will feature exhibits by approximately 100 artists from all around the Country. The event will also feature live music and family-friendly interactive activities. Art on the Commons is free for the public, takes place throughout Lincoln Park Civic Commons, and will run from 11 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on August 14, 2022.

The Fraze’s initial announcement of 2022 shows concluded with Get The Led Out who will perform on August 17, 2022, at 7:30 P.M. Get The Led Out will bring the bombastic and epic to folky and mystical music of Led Zeppelin to the Fraze stage. The Fraze Pavilion encourages patrons to purchase tickets early as shows can sell out.
